The National Community Media Cyber Capacity Building Project (NCMCCBP) successfully commenced with an interactive training session aimed at equipping journalists and media practitioners with essential cybersecurity reporting skills.
Participants engaged in a session on “Reporting Responsibly Without Compromising Investigations,” facilitated by Mr. Theophilus Botchway of the Cyber Security Authority (CSA).
During the training, participants learned how to preserve digital evidence, report cybercrime through the appropriate channels, and avoid actions that could interfere with ongoing investigations.
The NCMCCBP is designed to strengthen the capacity of media practitioners to effectively communicate cyber risks, promote cybersecurity awareness, and support Ghana’s growing cybersecurity agenda through responsible and informed journalism.
