Kailani Ibrahim, the Ghanaian who went viral as the âPowder Manâ during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, has been granted bail following his first court appearance in an alleged visa and travel fraud case.
Ibrahim was arrested by the Ghana Police Serviceâs Documentation and Visa Fraud Unit after allegedly collecting more than US$30,000 from over 13 people to arrange travel to Canada, Nicaragua and the United States.
The complainants reportedly did not get the promised travel arrangements, after which Ibrahim allegedly went into hiding before his arrest.
Following his first court proceedings, the Accra Circuit Court granted him bail to the sum of GH¢400,000 with 3 Sureties.
The case is still ongoing as the court considers the allegations against him.
