Kailani Ibrahim, popularly known as the “Powder Man” who went viral during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, has reportedly been arrested by the Ghana Police Service’s Documentation and Visa Fraud Unit at CID Headquarters.
According to reports, Ibrahim is alleged to have collected more than US$30,000 from over 13 people after promising to help them travel to Canada, Nicaragua and the United States.
He reportedly failed to fulfil the travel arrangements and allegedly went into hiding before his arrest by the police.
Ibrahim is now reportedly before the court over the alleged visa and travel fraud case.
