Afro Arab Group has announced a major employment and mobility initiative aimed at empowering Ghanaian youth through the introduction of 1,000 electric vehicles (EVs) under a “Work and Pay” model.
The project is expected to generate more than 2,000 direct and indirect jobs, creating opportunities across transportation, maintenance, charging infrastructure, logistics, and administration.
Under the “Work and Pay” arrangement, beneficiaries will be given access to electric vehicles to operate commercially while paying gradually toward ownership. The initiative is designed to reduce the barrier to vehicle acquisition for young entrepreneurs, particularly those in the ride-hailing and transport sectors.
Requirement: 20, 000 Ghana cedis down payment, Ghana Card and Two Guarantors
Beyond job creation, the company says the project will promote clean and sustainable energy adoption in Ghana. Plans are underway to integrate solar-powered charging stations to ease pressure on the national electricity grid while advancing environmentally friendly transport solutions.
The initiative aligns with broader national efforts focused on youth employment, economic expansion, and sustainable development.
